A Magical Family Christmas at Rufford Old Hall

What makes Christmas time so special? It's the family traditions which bring everyone together. So gather up your family and friends, wrap up warm and start by adding your wish to the wishing tree, meeting Father Christmas or taking a ride on a donkey!
Soak up the atmosphere in the Tudor Great Hall and listen to live music on Saturday 2 December with Hesketh Silver Band, join in with carol singing on Sunday 10 December with the Victorian Carollers and put on your dancing shoes on Sunday 17 December as you are invited to join Regency Rejigged dance in the Great Hall (limited free dancing tickets available on the day).
If you'd like to learn how our decorations are made, why not book a place on one of our Christmas Decorating Workshops? They are the perfect way in get in the Christmas spirit with a guided tour of the House to get inspiration before making your own to take home!
Rufford Old Hall can be very busy at weekends, especially when Father Christmas is visiting so we recommend visiting Thursdays and Fridays if you are able.
Bring your toddlers along on Thursdays for festive storytelling with Sue Allonby find out the times here. Why not make a day of it and gather your mummy friends and enjoy some festive treats in the tea room.
