Throughout 2026, Rufford Old Hall will host a programme of free to experience activities and events for all the family.

House Tours: Daily, 10.45. Talks each day, times on admission.
Garden Talks: Mondays at 13.30 and Fridays at 11.30.
Meet the Gardener Talks: 1st Tuesday of each month, 13.30.
Forget-Me-Not Dementia Café: Last Tuesday of the month, 9.30-11.00. See events page for more details.
Lute Playing in Great Hall: Each Tuesday and Sunday throughout the day.
Traditional Yarn Spinning Demonstrations inside House: 14 April, 4 and 23 May, 7 June, 18 and 28 July, 15 and 30 August, 19 and 20 September, throughout the day.
Regency Rejigged Dancing Performance: 26 April at 11.00-11.45, 12.45-13.30 and 13.45-14.30.
Galliard Folk Dancers Performance: 2 May, timings TBC.
Poetry Walk and Talk in the Gardens: 9 May with an 11.30 start time.
Dementia Action Week: 18-24 May, 10.30-16.00. Full programme information TBC.
Meet the Beekeeper: 19 May, throughout the day.
Red Rose Woodturners demonstrations and market: 27-28 June and 19-20 September.
