Held on the last Tuesday of each month from 9:30–11.00, it’s a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy friendly company in the beautiful, quiet surroundings of our Victorian Tea Room.
Our Dementia Café at Rufford Old Hall offers a friendly, supportive space for people living with dementia, their families, carers, and friends. The café provides an opportunity to meet others, share experiences, and enjoy time together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
There is no parking charge or admission fee to visit our Dementia Café and you can enjoy refreshments at a discounted rate, with no pressure to purchase anything during your visit.
The café is hosted by dementia-friendly staff and volunteers who understand the importance of creating a safe, inclusive space. Whether you are living with dementia or caring for someone who is and looking for a place to connect with others who understand, our Dementia Café offers companionship, reassurance, and a sense of community in the beautiful surroundings of Rufford Old Hall.
All are welcome, and no booking is required — come along and enjoy a morning of warmth, understanding, and shared moments.

The tea-room is accessible and can be entered from the courtyard. Step free access is available. Accessible toilet available in the courtyard. 5 disabled parking bays are available.
