The deer at Tatton Park

Deer in the parkland at Tatton Park

Herds of red and fallow deer roam freely in 1,000 acres of parkland. The meres, woodlands and rough grassland provide a perfect habitat for wildlife.

For centuries the red and fallow deer at Tatton have roamed freely over 1,000 acres of parkland. Join the rangers for a unique opportunity to see the deer in their natural habitat, either on a guided evening walk or a deer feed and trailer ride through the parkland. If you are lucky, see newborn fawns and calves. Contact our education department on 01625 374428 for more information.
