Other things to note

Coaches

We are pleased to confirm that our coach park will reopen from Monday 17th May normal parking charges will apply.

Cycling

We welcome and encourage cyclists in the car parks, we have cycle racks near the visitor centre which you can use. Please remember that cycling on the cliff paths isn’t allowed as they are only designated as footpaths and cycling contributes to cliff path erosion.

Keeping safe while walking

In most places the cliff edges are unfenced. Please keep safe by keeping back from the edge at all times and keeping dogs on a lead.

Fire and Barbeques

Fires, barbeques and camping stoves are banned anywhere on site because of the high fire risk and the damage they cause to the landscape.

Camping and overnight stays

Camping anywhere onsite is prohibited. Campervans are welcome during the day but cannot stay past the car park closing time time of 7pm.

Drones

Drone are strictly prohibited anywhere on National Trust land but additionally because of the proximity to the Port of Dover there is a controlled zone air space zone in place. Please see the Port of Dover’s website for more information.
