Kayaking at Tredegar House

A group kayaking on the lake at Tredegar House

Enjoy the parkland at Tredegar House like never before and head out onto the lake for a kayaking session this summer.

Whatever the weather the Bank Holiday brings, this is the perfect opportunity to get out and about and try something new at Tredegar House.

Along with Channel Kayaks, we’re helping you tick off No. 50 of the National Trust’s 50 things to do before you’re 11¾; Canoe down a river.

No experience necessary and no equipment needed, this is going to be one for all the family to enjoy.

We’ll be running sessions every 15 minutes from 10am until 5pm across the Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Sessions will include a safety briefing and buoyancy aid fitting, personal instruction on paddle techniques and tackling a course of buoys before heading out to explore the lake. Sessions will be limited to five persons per group.

This is a water based event so expect to have fun and get splashed!
