Parkland Volunteer Ranger Opportunity Launched

The parkland at Tredegar House

With our HAPPy project now underway, our Ranger has been getting to grips with the varying and exciting challenges our parkland poses. Over the next two years we will be making a conscious effort to improve all aspects of the parkland and need your help to do it.

We have an exciting new role available as a Volunteer Ranger in our 90-acre parkland. Working alongside our resident Ranger you will be assisting in the restoration and enhancement of the parkland here at Tredegar house.

This is especially a fantastic opportunity for those looking to be a Ranger or pursue a career in practical countryside management and conservation, or those just looking to get into the outdoors and really make a difference. The role will involve everything from woodland management, to ecological surveys, to path maintenance. There is always a wide variety of tasks and no two days will be the same.
