Sign a slate for Tredegar House

Roofer holding signed slate

Become part of the fabric of Tredegar House this spring and help us repair our leaky roof.

During February half-term you will be able to sign a limited number of the 10,000 slate tiles for our new roof. By signing one of our slates you will be writing our history, with the slates predicted to protect the House for the next 100 years.

Whether you wish to leave your own mark, celebrate an anniversary, spoil a loved one, draw your family tree or just show the love for our special place, it’s time to get your thinking caps on.

" This work wouldn’t be possible without the support of our visitors, volunteers and organisations in the local community. We want their efforts to be remembered for years to come. Signing a slate will create a lasting legacy"
- Justin Albert, Director of National Trust Wales

This is rare opportunity to become part of Newport’s heritage and all proceeds from the fundraising campaign will go towards the £1.3 million needed for new roof. With your help we can secure the future of Tredegar House into the 22nd century and beyond.

Dates: Saturday 18 February – Sunday 26 February
Times: 11am-3pm
Price: £20 per slate - tickets available at the Visitor Reception
