Visiting Tyntesfield this winter

Tyntesfield estate winter sun

There's plenty to see, do and get involved with during winter at Tyntesfield.

Be it a weekday outing or or half-term holidays, there's no reason not to get out, about and involved at Tyntesfield over the winter months.

If you're a keen walker, there's walks across the estate, both guided and self-led, and with two cafes on site, you're never too far from a warming cuppa.

As the house team pack up the baubles for another year and begin their annual deep clean, entry to the house is free-flow on weekends and by tour or 'sneak peek' on weekdays.

Visiting Tyntesfield house in January and February

In January and February, the best way to see the house on weekdays is on a behind the scenes tour, giving you a chance to see behind the scenes and learn about the family's story. New for 2020, if you don't wish to go on a tour, you can see a limited number of rooms as part of your grounds admission ticket.

If photography is your thing, why not have a go at our winter photography challenges? There'll be a new one each week, and you may well see the estate in a new light.
