Autumn in the shop at Uppark

Formally the old laundry, our shop has plenty of great gifts, exclusive National Trust ranges, and a wonderful selection of local products.

The new National Trust 2019 autumn/winter range

Inspired by slow craft and the maker’s hand, our ‘Grain to Glory’ collection explores the delicately crafted woodwork in our collections that have been so carefully maintained and restored. From Grinling Gibbons’ intricate limewood carvings at Petworth House, to the opulent carved ceilings at Knightshayes; we explore the rich textures and intricate motifs.

Local to us

We love supporting local businesses and have set aside a small section in the shop to celebrate products local to us. On offer is local cider brewed by The Garden Cider Company who create hand crafted premium ciders sourced entirely from local, donated garden apples. Each year over 4,000 local households give the team at The Garden Cider Company their spare garden fruit and in return receive a share of the cider made back for free.

We also stock freshly stoneground flour, milled from our friends at Winchester City Mill. Every bag of flour you buy helps towards the fundraising efforts of the team at the Mill to keep it open for everyone to enjoy.
