Royal Geographical Society: Earth Photo 2026

Earth Photo 2026 is a stunning exhibition of some of the most powerful contemporary environmental photography brought together from the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), Parker Harris and Photoworks.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Earth Photo is a world-leading international programme dedicated to engaging with still and moving image makers. Its main objective is to reveal the narratives behind the pictures, encouraging conversations about our world, its inhabitants, environments, and the changing climate.

Earth Photo celebrates photographic and film work that conveys the world around us and makes us think differently, capturing nature, people, place and space, forests, the land and seascapes, and the varied impacts of, and adaptations to, climate change.

Now more than ever, photography and film shape how we see the world around us. From the effects of climate change and biodiversity loss to powerful acts of restoration, resilience and hope, Earth Photo sheds light on the stories behind the images.

This year's shortlisted photographers will be shown in an exhibition travelling across the country, including five National Trust sites. You can explore the exhibition throughout the orchard at Tyntesfield between 3rd October - 29th November.
