This event is a discussion between artist, Daniel Lismore and Birmingham-based performance artist, Twiggy. Hosted by artist, writer, and director Sean Burns. The conversation will delve into the artist's background and inspirations, looking at what has driven them throughout their career. The discussion will look at their creative process and how they design, make, and create their art and outfits.

Daniel Lismore is a London-based artist. Although he started his career as an artist working as a photographer, he soon moved in front of the lens as a model, later emerging as a creative consultant. Lismore has been named by Vogue as ‘England's Most Eccentric Dresser’. He has long been an advocate for the recycling of clothes, climate change charities, and the LGBTQ+ community.

An instantly recognisable figure in Birmingham’s nightlife and Pride celebrations, Twiggy is a legend of Birmingham’s LGBTQ+ community. A highly skilled costume maker, Twiggy has been creating original and dramatic outfits for over 35 years. These outfits are then brought to life through their love of theatrics and performance.

Sean Burns is an artist and writer. He is the director of the film Dorothy Towers and the co-founder of Queer Street Press, an independent publishing imprint. He writes extensively on art and culture and sits on an advisory council at Tate. He has been a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art, London, and Ruskin School of Art, Oxford.
