Join our wonderful team of volunteers this festive season for a creative, free Christmas craft drop-in. Learn the charming art of book folding and transform an old book into a beautiful decorative Christmas tree - perfect for your mantelpiece or as a handmade gift. There is no need to book, just drop by the stables in the tearoom and get crafting. All ages are welcome, though little hands may need a bit of supervision.
It is free to take part, but donations are gratefully received to support our work. Normal admission charges apply, no booking required. Come along, get festive, and enjoy the warmth of the season in our historic setting.

Please check in at Visitor Reception on arrival, then head to the stables end of the tearoom for the workshop.
- What to bring and wear
It can be a bit chilly in the winter months, so we recommend bringing an extra layer.
- Accessibility
The stables end of the tearoom has an historic floor of stone cobbles, with some small wooden humps between doorways. There is room for wheelchair access.
