  • Booking essential

Discover the beauty of hand embroidery in this inspiring workshop led by textile artist Lily Purslow at Wightwick Manor and Gardens.

Guided by Lily’s expertise, you’ll receive a full embroidery kit, high-quality DMC threads, 3D elements (shells) and an embroidery hoop for display. Perfect for those with some prior embroidery experience and at an intermediate level, this four-hour workshop provides expert support, hands-on techniques, and creative insights drawn from Lily’s extensive experience in fine art and textiles.

This workshop allows you to be creative in your chosen design as you will not be following a pattern, but rather allowing your creativity to flow and making your own unique rock pool design.

Enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with drink refreshments included. Bring your own scissors and an optional sketchbook for extra creativity.

£80 per person, includes admission to the site, drinks refreshments and all materials. There will be a 1 hour break where you can explore the site and make use of the tearoom facilities if you wish.

Please note, this workshop takes place in the meeting room above the shop in the Old Manor building, which is only accessible via a flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.

Workshop runs from 10:30am - 12:30pm, with a break 12:30-1:30pm, then finishing at 3:30pm.
