This autumn, families are invited to step into the timeless world of Winnie-the-Pooh at Anglesey Abbey, Lode, near Cambridge, with a brand-new story trail and centenary exhibition celebrating 100 years of A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard’s much-loved bear.

Saturday 3 October 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027

Created in collaboration with HarperCollins, Three Cheers for Pooh! Story Trail will bring the Hundred Acre Wood to life from Saturday 3 October 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, offering visitors of all ages the chance to rediscover some of Pooh and his friends’ most memorable adventures.

Follow the trail outdoors

Young explorers can follow the outdoor trail through Anglesey Abbey’s woodland paths, looking out for familiar characters and playful activities along the way. Spot Pooh with his trusty honeypot, stop at Poohsticks Bridge and dream up a game of Poohsticks, or see how high the whole family can bounce like Tigger.

Inside the house

The Winnie-the-Pooh Centenary Exhibition will take visitors behind the stories to discover how Pooh, Piglet, Christopher Robin and the rest of the Hundred Acre Wood came to life.

Visitors can get closer to the original books and E.H. Shepard’s iconic artwork, while discovering some of the real-life stories and inspirations behind A.A. Milne’s tales. Extracts from much-loved adventures will be brought together with playful interactive elements, creating an engaging experience for Pooh fans old and new.
