Listen to the Voices of the Fen - sound sculpture trail
A series of sound sculptures around the Sedge Fen reveals hidden soundscapes, invites you to listen closely and experience the landscape in a new way.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Created by acclaimed sound artist and composer Kathy Hinde, collaborating with other artists, this trail is the culmination of a year long project. As you wander through the Fen, kinetic sculptures resonate with the sounds of the Fen, soundpools play recordings of usually hidden creatures, and aeolian instruments play when the wind stirs them. Listen to the Fen closely to connect with the diverse range of its wildlife in a new and unexpected way. Listen to the Voices of the Fen is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
