Vernissage: a site responsive performance at Wicken Fen
Vernissage is a live, site responsive performance by Stevie Wishart in celebration of the final weekend of our Listen to the Voices of the Fen sound sculpture trail.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Stevie Wishart will be at Wicken Fen composing with the natural sounds of the fen and the sounds of the sculpture trail to celebrate the final weekend 'Vernissage' of Listen to the Voices of the Fen. Explore the sculpture trail between 2pm and 4pm and expect to discover performances by Stevie happening in different locations along the trail.
Stevie Wishart is a Collaborating Composer for the Listen to the Voices of the Fen sound sculpture trail. Stevie creatively responded to the birdsong of Wicken Fen with violin compositions that are interspersed into the natural soundscape as a spatialised sound installation. You can experience Stevie's installation in the Woodland Walk at Wicken Fen.
