Pond dipping at Wicken Fen, but with a twist and for slightly older children and families!

As well as delving into the pond, we'll be going for a short guided walk, to search for dragonflies (and damselflies) on the wing. Plus a chance to listen underwater, using a hydrophone.

Family session, suitable for children age 10+. Must be accompanied.
- Meeting point
Check in at the Visitor Centre a few minutes before the start of the event.
- What to bring and wear
Leave your best clothes at home and dress for the weather, with sunhats or waterproofs as necessary.
- Accessibility
We will be using grassy areas and unsurfaced paths that may not be suitable for wheelchairs. Assistance dogs only.

Normal admission applies for non-members. Members are asked to bring their membership cards for scanning. If you are trying to book on the day of the event, please call the Visitor Centre on 01353 720274 to check if spaces are available.
