Experience the luxury of a private carriage ride pulled by one of our magnificent Wimpole Shire horses.

The route takes you from the farm up to the mansion and back, with your own personal dedicated driver and groom. Carriage rides last about 45 minutes with a stop for photographs on the mansion drive. The maximum passenger number is four people, with children of all ages welcome. The perfect way to see the rural beauty of this estate.
This is a unique opportunity with limited spaces, so pre-booking is essential. £85 covers the private booking of a carriage with driver, groom and space for 4 passengers. Smaller children who are able to sit on an adult's lap for the duration of the ride can join in addition to the 4 passengers. Admission to the Estate applies.

- Meeting point
Please head down to the farm 10 minutes before your Carriage Ride, where one of the Heavy Horse team will meet you. Please note, the farm is a 20 - 30 minute walk from the car park.
- What to bring and wear
Carriage Rides take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather, including sturdy shoes, warm clothes and a coat in case of rain.
- Accessibility
People will need to be able to step up onto the carriage, there is one step up onto the carriage, we can provide a set of steps to make it into three smaller steps
- Other
Carriage Rides may be postponed in the case of adverse weather or for animal welfare reasons, but adequate notice will be given.
