After exploring the garden and park, stop to refuel at one of Dunham Massey's food outlets, which offer a wide range of cakes, snacks and drinks. The National Trust shop has a huge choice of gifts and souvenirs, while the second-hand bookshop is the place to find a pre-loved treasure for the journey home.

Eating at Dunham Massey

Stamford Café

Located in the Visitor Centre, the Stamford Café is a bright and airy space that offers a range of light bite food and drinks. Eat in, take away, or relax with your dog in the outdoor seating area on the terrace.

The Stables Restaurant

Here, you'll find hot and cold meals to suit every taste. ENjoy your meal in the historical surrounds of the Dunham Massey Stables building. Dog-friendly indoor seating can be found on on right of the entrance.

The ice-cream parlour

Pop in for a tasty ice cream or a hot drink. A great place to fuel yourself up before exploring the park with family, friends and four-legged companions.

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

From specially-designed throws and scarves inspired by autumn’s fiery hues’, to clever foldable shoppers with our unique prints, our range is full of stylish options. Books & stationery

Curl up with a book from our hand-picked selection – browse our children’s books, cookbooks, gardening books, guidebooks and lots more literary wonders with something to suit every book lover. Look out for our gorgeous design-led, UK-made stationery range to turn even the shortest thank you note into something special.

Food & drink

Working with specialist producers, our seasonal, edible highlights include warming ginger and seasonal fruits. While our selection of tempting beverages are all UK-made and completely moreish. If you’re looking for that special gift, check out our chocolate treats, or find something delicious to share with family of friends. There’s plenty to tempt your tastebuds.

For kids and families

Our shop supports families to explore and embrace the great outdoors in any weather, with umbrellas for adults and essential magnifyers for bug enthusiasts. Go green with our ethical utensils and supplies, reusable drinking straws and plastic-free food bags. Our plastic-free and beautiful Christmas Card and gift wrap range is made with FSc approved paper and is 100% recyclable, We promote our local friends and their quality products - spot our UK-made, best-selling beeswax wraps.

Second-hand bookshop

Explore new worlds, rediscover childhood favourites or pick up some tips and tricks, all while helping to look after Dunham Massey. All money raised through our second-hand bookshop will go towards our work with children and young people, supporting the sharing of conservation knowledge, and creating positive experiences in nature.

Our second-hand bookshop can be found in our Visitor Centre. If you'd like to donate any unwanted books for others to fall in love with, and help support our conservation work, please bring them into the Welcome Desk at the Visitor Centre on your next visit – we'd particularly love some children's books to inspire the next generation of readers. Thank you.
