A Trail of Tails: Christmas in the House
This Christmas, the circus has come to Dunham Massey, but the animals have escaped and are running wild through the house.

The tree has been disturbed, presents have disappeared, and there are mysterious clues to uncover. Follow the footprints, search the rooms and track down all the missing gifts to save Christmas on this adventure for the whole family. Collect embossed stamps along the house route, and a sticker from the visitor reception desk. The event is included in Whole Property admission (House, Park and Gardens ticket). Free for National Trust members. No booking needed, last entry 3pm. Approx. a 30-45 minute experience exploring the house.

The basics

Lift available for wheelchair access to allow entry to the whole experience. Seating available along the route for those who need it. The event includes sound and light including animal sounds and music. Assistance dogs only in the house. Please leave prams and large bags in storage. There will be ‘hippy chick’ carriers available. Visual story available on request.

We anticipate mornings will be quieter and weekends and school holidays will be busy. Please speak to a member of staff for more information. There will be a National Trust pop-up shop in the Kitchen at the end of the experience, where visitors can buy gifts and souvenirs.
