The basics

Suitability

All ages welcome

Meeting point

Please park in our main car park and head to the Welcome Building to pay or have your NT membership card scanned. After this, please follow the path to the entrance of the Hall.

What to bring and wear

Wrap up warm as the Hall can get a bit chilly over the winter months.

Accessibility

Please note that powered mobility vehicles and motorised wheelchairs are not currently able to enter the historic Hall building. Manual wheelchairs available to borrow from the Welcome Centre. Virtual tour of the upper floors available on ground floor of Hall. Steep spiral staircases to upstairs and cobbled courtyard.

Other

Normal admission charges apply, free entry to National Trust members. Booking not required. Visitors to the hall on weekends will not only be entertained by a jovial jester but will also be treated to the musical talents of either Merrie Noyse or Piva; groups of performers who bring the music of the past to life.
