Evening Bat Walk
Join our knowledgeable Ranger team for an evening walk to observe the park’s resident bats.
- Booking not needed
You will have the opportunity to learn about the bats that have made Tatton Park their home, during this special parkland walk and watch the bats emerge from their roost in the rafters of the historic Old Hall. Our Ranger team will have bat detectors available, so you will also be able hear the bats foraging and feeding using echolocation. Please note that some elements of the route will be off road, so appropriate footwear is essential. To maximise your enjoyment, please dress for the weather. You are welcome to bring head torches for the event, but red light must be used to reduce disruption to the bats.
