Wet Felting Workshop: Make a Snood

Wrap yourself in creativity at our Wet Felted Snood Workshop at Tatton Park.

  • Booking essential

Using soft merino wool, vibrant sari silk, and delicate silk hankies, you’ll design and create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind snood with rich texture, colour, and drape. Led by fibre artist Vicky Pulman of Needlessly Felted, this workshop is perfect for both beginners and experienced makers. You’ll explore the art of wet felting, learning how to blend fibres, layer textures, and sculpt them into a wearable textile. Inspired by the elegance of natural fibres and the beauty of hand-crafted textiles, you’ll leave with a luxurious snood that’s truly your own.

What's Included: - A curated selection of merino wools in complementary shades - Beautiful sari silk fibres for colour, sheen, and movement - Silk hankies to add delicate texture and unique patterning - All equipment and materials required for wet felting - Expert, step-by-step tuition throughout the session - Entry to Tatton Park, giving you time to explore the grounds before or after the workshop

Why Attend? This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, connect with tactile materials, and create a wearable piece of art. Wet felting with luxury fibres offers a soothing, hands-on experience — and you’ll leave with a handcrafted snood that reflects your personal style. Perfect as a treat for yourself or a thoughtful handmade gift. Parkland vehicle entry is included.
