    Stage 6

The next wooden footbridge brings you onto Raphael (pronounced Ray-phel) Cliff. The path here is narrow and takes you round a craggy outcrop with views over the bay. Carry on down the steep steps. Further along is another stream as the path leads on to Chapel (pronounced Chay-pel) Cliff. Go left at the next fork with the yellow arrow and oakleaf on the waymarker.

    Stage 7

At the next sign go straight ahead to get directly to the village or take the right-hand path to go via the Net Loft. There is a shelter above the Net Loft for a rest and to look out at the view. The path down to the Net Loft is steep and uneven, so care is needed.

    Stage 8

Return: either retrace your steps, or walk up to the top of the village and catch a bus. For a circular walk as shown on the map follow these steps to return via country lanes: Go up through the village via Landaviddy Lane, leading onto Raphael Road.

    Stage 9

Keep on Raphael Road, past Landaviddy Farm and the right-hand junction to Langreek Road.

    Stage 10

Stay on Raphael Road until you come to a junction signposted ‘Lansallos’ to the left. Take this left-hand turn and carry on past Lansallos Barton on the right and Old and West House holiday cottages on the left.

    Stage 11

Bear right at the bottom, back past the church and campsite on the left.

    Stage 12

The car park in further up on the right.
