Coastal Connections: Yoga & Walk

Join us at Porth for a gentle beach yoga session and an i9mmersive walk with a nature. Suitable for all abilities, no previous experience necessary. Free mini-bus transport available from mid-Cornwall. These events are run in partnership with Wild Wonder and Wisdom CIC. These sessions aim to explore how people can enjoy and benefit from Cornwall's beautiful coastal environments. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy guided walks, discover local wildlife, do some gentle yoga or take part in creative nature-based activities to experience the wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors. Sessions will be delivered by trained staff and volunteers in a friendly group setting. Coastal Connections is a new project led by the National Trust’s North & South Cornwall Coasts team. It is supported by funding from Cornwall Council's Health Determinants Research Collaboration and working in partnership with Wild Wonder and Wisdom CIC.

Blue badge parking, toilets open during café opening with accessible toilet. Steep and uneven step onto beach.

Meet by the welcome board in the top car park.

What to bring and wear

We’ll be walking along the beach and dunes so wear strong shoes and suitable clothing for the weather (hats, sun cream or coats). Please bring a yoga mat or towel to sit on.

Other

All activities will be outdoors, with a covered option for the yoga in case of bad weather.
