Welcome the start of spring and view an exhibition of Honor Budden's botanical illustrations in the West Library at Trelissick.
Honor’s sensitivity and precision allowed her to create botanical art that is both scientifically exact and deeply beautiful. This collection of her work invites anyone to pause and look more closely at the flora around us.
Her botanical illustrations, mainly in watercolour, with finely detailed pencil studies, reflected her curiosity and her commitment to recording native British flora.
The exhibition celebrates her creativity and skill as well as honouring her 44 years at Trelissick where she worked and volunteered.
