Follow the Wonder World Earth trail at Trengwainton

We're starting the year celebrating the muddy, magical, marvellous miracle that is soil!

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

In collaboration with the charity World Book Day®, discover all sorts of fun facts about the ground beneath our feet and the mini-beasts that live in it, through text and illustrations from Wonder World Earth by Ben Lerwill and Xuan Le, published by Nosy Crow in collaboration with the National Trust. Along the way you can spin the 'earthy pose' wheel, wriggle like a worm, hop like a rabbit and dig like a mole as you explore the walled gardens and orchard* as they wake from their winter slumber. From 15 February to 08 March, 10am-5pm. (Closed Fridays and Saturdays). No booking required.

*Due to severe storm damage, the walled garden, orchard, café, shop and bookshop are the only areas of the garden open at this time. Please check Trengwainton's website before travelling in case of further storm closures.
