This Christmas at Trerice, discover the wonders of a Tudor Christmas as Father Christmas shares festive stories in the Drawing Room, view the house and barn dressed in sparkling traditional decorations, and enjoy wreath making workshops and festive performances from a selection of choirs.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit from our old friend Father Christmas with his familiar white beard and robes of red. Visit the Drawing Room to hear tales and traditions of Christmases past with 30 minute sessions throughout the day. All children will go home with a gift.
Father Christmas will be at Trerice from Saturday 19 to Wednesday 23 December.
Booking in advance for Father Christmas is essential, tickets are £4 per adult and £5.50 per child. Please note that normal admission still applies.

From Saturday 5 December come in from the cold through our willow archway and warm yourself by the fire. Embrace the festive spirit in the Hall, beautifully decorated for Christmas with our stunning 16ft Christmas tree, and the cosy Drawing Room, ready for a visit from Father Christmas.
Natural foliage gathered from the garden and festive decorations of rich reds and gleaming golds will adorn the rest of the house, adding to its homely Christmas feel.
Between December 19 and 23, only the ground floor of the house will be open.
Get into the festive spirit with Christmas carols from the Trerice Volunteer Choir who will be performing seasonal favourites throughout December. We are also hosting various other choirs this year in the barn - click here for dates and times.
Embrace the spirit of the season and unwrap your creativity with our Christmas wreath making workshop.
You will learn how to make your own wreath to take home and hang on your door, with lots of natural Christmas themed decorations and foliage gathered from the garden at Trerice.
Head to the Trerice barn café for hot drinks, yummy bakes, festive treats and light lunches this winter. The shop has plenty of gifts on offer as well as a range of Christmas decorations and treats. There is also a variety of National Trust designed accessories and blankets to chase the chill away.
It is through your purchases that we are able to continue to look after Trerice for everyone, for ever.
