What better way is there to explore a garden? One of the members of the garden team will meet you by the Great Barn and take you on a tour of the garden, offering their knowledge of the plants and history of the gardens. This is aimed at anyone with an interest in gardens, you don’t need to have a good knowledge of plants as the gardeners will be happy to answer any questions you have. This gentle stroll around different areas of the garden, its history and its planting will offer any visitor a deeper insight into the Abbey gardens.

Most of the gardens can be accessed in wheelchairs and trampers. The tour will be at a slow pace, please contact us if you have any concerns.
