Celebrate Great Big Green Week at Buckland Abbey with a series of events that support nature and conservation.
Garden events: Yoga posses in the Cider House Garden (6-14 June) - Head to the Cider House Garden to have a go at some yoga posses and unwind in nature.
Seed planting in the barn (dates TBC) - Head to the barn and plant your own seeds to take home.
Guided garden tours (dates TBC) - Join Senior Gardener Sam for a guided tour of the garden at Buckland Abbey.
Abbey events: Pests and insects spotter trail (6-14 June) - Spot and count the hidden pests and insects in each room of the abbey.
Conservation in action (dates TBC)- Join the house team for demonstrations on some of the conservation techniques used to protect and preserve the collection at Buckland Abbey.

Sensible shoes and clothing for the estate walks.
- Accessibility
Some events take place on the wider estate, which is uneven and may be muddy. The walks will involve some slopes and uneven ground and will be slow, if you have any questions or concerns around accessibility please contact us. A buggy service is available to take visitors from the house and shop to the car park between 10am and 4.30pm (subject to volunteer availability).
