Rock on – February Half Term Trail
Do you know what's under your feet? Do you know the difference between your igneous or sedimentary rocks? Come to Drogo to find out about the history of Dartmoor's foundations.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
You might not think it, but Castle Drogo has experienced earthquakes before! That's all down to the different rocks beneath your feet. The granite of Dartmoor was also a big part of why Julius Drewe built Drogo the way he did. This February Half Term can you survive an earthquake? How about identifying your different stones? You'll do all this and more for a fun day out this Winter.
