Learn the Charleston with South West Lindy Hoppers
We're stepping back to the Roaring Twenties this Christmas, so why not pop on your dancing shoes and join a Charleston class with South West Lindy Hoppers in the house?

Jane and Derek, dance leaders from local group 'South West Lindy Hoppers' will be on hand to demonstrate how to dance the Charleston with a few of their members.
Join them in the Saloon at their drop in dance class on selected dates and learn all about the steps, rhythm and beat of the Charleston. They'll be showing the steps and inviting you to give it a go.
An accessible and inclusive dance, it's suitable for all ages, with easy to master moves which can be danced solo or with a partner.
So why not soak up the spirit of the Jazz era and get ready for the festive season as the house is trimmed for a Roaring Twenties party.

- Accessibility
This activity takes place on the ground floor of the house. There is a set of stairs leading down into the room.
- Meeting point
The dance class will take place in the Saloon, on the ground floor of the house.
- Suitability for children
Children are very welcome when accompanied by an adult.
- What to bring and wear
Feel free to come dressed for the occasion, but we ask no stiletto heels due to the original flooring in the house.
- Other
Drop in to the class at anytime between 1pm and 3pm. There may be a short break at some times. Last entrance to the house is at 3.30pm.
