Join the Volunteer Walking team on a free guided walk every month.

November's walk is ideal for walkers wanting to explore the hidden beaches of the coastline near Brixham.

Starting from Man Sands car park (you can park in either Man sands or nearby Scabbacombe car park), the Walk Leader will take you down to the wetlands of Man sands, for a chance to see the bird hide and spot any local wildlife, before heading down to the secluded, pebble sand beach.

Due to changing tides, the route may differ, but the circular Man sands walk takes around 45 minutes. The walk down is on untarmacked roads, so sturdy footwear is recommended.

Depending upon the group and abilities, the walk can be lengthened the include Scabbacombe beach. This 3 mile route is more challenging, with very steep sections and takes around 2-2.5 hours.

Please wear weather appropriate footwear and clothing. Dogs on a short leads are welcome. Please note there are no toilet facilities at the start or end.
