May's walk kicks off National Walking Month, and there are two options to choose from.
Meeting at Brownstone Car Park, the Walking Team will lead an accessible walk to the Day Mark and back, just under 1 mile taking approx. 30mins – 45 mins. This route is all terrain and level, so great for those wanting to stretch their legs.
Depending upon the walkers, the team may potentially head onto Froward point, taking in the historical gun placement from the Second World War. This part of the walk has steep and uneven paths, and would be around 2 miles and take 1.5 hours.
Please wear weather appropriate footwear and clothing. Dogs welcome on a short lead. Please note there are no toilet facilities.
