Monthly guided walks by the coast

Join the Walking Volunteers for a guided walk on the coast near Coleton Fishacre, on the first Friday of every month.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Join the Volunteer Walking team on a free guided walk every month.

September's walk is one for new walkers or those looking to enjoy an easy, accessible stroll that boosts your wellbeing.

Soaking up the sights, sounds and scents of summer, this accessible walk will take a level route from Brownstone car park towards the Daymark, an iconic and imposing navigational structure on the coastline. This walk will be around 45 minutes, and roughly 1.5km.

If there is appetite, the Walking Team will continue on down the access road towards Froward Point, and return. This walk will be 3km in total, taking around 1 and a half hours.

Please wear weather appropriate footwear and clothing. If it's looking like a hot day, hydrate early and bring plenty of water for the walk. We'd advised bringing a hat and sunglasses, wear sunscreen and loose, lightweight and light coloured clothing.

Dos on a short lead are welcome but please consider if the walk is still suitable for dogs in very hot weather. If you do bring them, bring extra water.

Please note there are no toilet facilities at the start or end.
