How to book your group visit
Booking a group visit to Killerton couldn’t be easier. Whether you’re part of a club, school group, society or registered travel company, you’ll find everything you need on this page, from booking information to details of any discounts and benefits available to groups. Killerton is popular all year round. To ensure a great day out for everyone, all school and group visits of 15 or more are self-led and must be pre-booked.

Why visit Killerton as a group?
Killerton is the perfect destination for large and small groups. You and your group can explore the formal garden with flowering terrace and champion trees, a welcoming Georgian house with renowned fashion collection, and Grade 1 listed chapel - all surrounded by historic parkland. There's a choice of two cafes and a shop to browse.
The fashion exhibtion is located on the first floor of the house, For 2026, we bring you 'History off the Hanger'. Three hundred years of histories from the wardrobe. The exhibiton changes annually and features items from the largest fashion collection cared for by the National Trust. The annual display can be seen from February to November (please contact us for details).
To make the most of your visit, we recommend you allow at least three hours to explore Killerton house and garden.
Benefits for groups
If you visit Killerton as a group, you’ll be entitled to some or all of the following benefits:
- Complimentary admission for a group leader who wants to pay a familiarisation visit (see below)
- Complimentary admission for one group leader and your coach driver on the day of visit
- Discounted admission price for non-members in the group. These prices are only available to a group of 15 people or more (irrespective of how many non-members are in your group) and where payment is made in one transaction on the day by cheque, cash or card.*
- Free coach parking for up to two coaches (pre-booking is required)
- For overseas visitors please enquire on booking for language guides
*We reserve the right to refuse entry to any organised group that has not made a booking. Groups of 15 or more people that are admitted at our discretion will not be entitled to the group rate.
Free familiarisation visits for group leaders
If you're planning a group visit you can request our free Travel Trade Pass and you and a friend or colleague will gain free entry to over 300 of our places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland for 12 months. Who is eligible for free entry?
Registered tourist board guides (on production of a valid badge), coach drivers and tour leaders escorting groups of 15 or more. National Trust members also receive free entry, so it is at your discretion whether to refund the entrance fee to members if you have included it in your package – this is not refunded by the National Trust.
Members must bring their current membership cards with them to avoid paying the full group rate. If any of your group would like to join the National Trust please direct them to our Membership page or call 0344 800 1895.
National Trust Education Group Access Pass
Schools or education groups can benefit from an Education Group Access Pass, which gives the whole group free admission and parking at most of the places in our care for a year.

The Old Dairy
Tucked away in the garden, The Old Dairy is a charming multi-use room full of character. Whether you're planning a team meeting, workshop or informal gathering, this airy space offers a peaceful and inspiring environment.
The Engine House
Once a working sawmill, The Engine House now provides a unique setting for meetings, group get-togethers and exhibitions. Situated in the main car park at Killerton's entrance, it's easy to access while offering a practical space for your event.
