Whether you want to keep your hunger pangs at bay by ordering something tasty in the Stables Café, or browse the selection of homeware, gifts, local foods and garden accessories in the shop, you're bound to find something to tempt you at Knightshayes.

Eating at Knightshayes

The Stables Café

The café at Knightshayes is open daily, offering a great selection of food and drink, as well as plenty of seating.

For a spot of brunch, why not try one of our breakfast baps? Lunch choices include everything from baked potatoes to freshly prepared salads.

Throughout the day, cakes, scones, sandwiches, ice creams, and a choice of hot and cold drinks are available, ensuring you'll never go hungry or thirsty.

Conservatory Café

Open daily from March - October. Offering grab and go, hot and cold drinks, cake, scones and ice-cream.

Pick up a sweet treat to enjoy while you explore the Formal and Woodland Garden at Knightshayes.

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

The Stables shop

Open daily, you can find year round inspiration for the perfect gift or souvenir.

Create an eco-friendly home with our range of sustainable products, from kitchen accessories such as beeswax wraps, to organic hand lotion. Bring colour to your home with our bee inpired range. Or choose from a selection of mouth-watering seasonal curds, preserves, biscuits, chutneys, sauces and chocolate.

We also have some brilliant little items for big imaginations, with traditional wooden toys, ideas for messy play and an adorable range of plushes to choose from.

The plant centre

With a broad selection of green and flowering plants available, you can easily find something that'll add colour and texture to your garden, or put a smile on a loved one's face.

Things to see and do inside Knightshayes house 

Discover the ground floor of house at National Trust’s Knightshayes. See the details behind architect William Burges's gothic façade and a portrait that may be by Rembrandt. From Monday 15 April the first floor of the house will also reopen for a peek into the private spaces of the Heathcoat-Amory family.
