Embrace the spirit of adventure and learn to thrive in the great outdoors. Set in the historic birthplace of the Scouting movement, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the wild, ensuring each session is both educational and exhilarating.
Throughout the year, our sessions adapt to the changing seasons, making every visit a new and exciting challenge. You'll gain hands-on experience with essential survival skills, including basic knife techniques, fire lighting, shelter construction, and identifying plants and trees.
These skills are not only practical but also incredibly fun to learn, making this an ideal activity for families and individuals alike.
Whether you're a budding adventurer or simply looking to reconnect with nature, our bushcraft sessions offer something for everyone. Remember, all participants must be at least 7 years old, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is suitable for both adults and children, only valid ticket holders can take part in the Bushcraft activities.

- Meeting point
Meeting point is by the Visitor Centre. Please allow an extra 15 minutes to walk from Reception to the Visitor Centre

Bring sensible outdoor clothing and footwear.

Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access on the boat.

Please note that the ticket price is per person and does not include boat fare or admission fees, which are payable on the day. Only valid ticket holders can take part in the Bushcraft activities Sessions can be booked online or at Reception. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Each session lasts approximately one hour: Sessions are at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
