Winter wellbeing walks with the Brownsea team at Kingson Lacy
Feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or just in need of a reset? Join us for a calm, welcoming walk at Kingston Lacy. A chance to slow down and feel a little more connected.
- Booking essential
- Free event
These small, supportive group walks are designed for individuals who are navigating a difficult time, experiencing loss, or simply needing a break from the noise of everyday life. While Brownsea Island is closed for the winter the walks take place on the first Wednesday of each month at Kingston Lacy (November–March), with no cost to attend and admission included. Places are limited so booking is essential.
Please note that this is a walking-based activity, with the session lasting around 90 minutes and regular pauses along the way. Participants will need to be comfortable walking the route, which may include uneven ground and natural surfaces. If you have any questions about whether the walk will be suitable for you, please contact the Brownsea team before booking and we’ll be happy to talk it through
