Eating and shopping at Corfe Castle

Situated in an 18th century former cottage, the Tea-room at Corfe Castle serves a delicious menu of hot and cold food, drinks, cakes and bakes. Afterwards, stop off at the Shop to discover beautiful collections of homewares, gifts and locally made ranges to take home with you. The second-hand book shop located in Castle View is also filled with literary treasures.

The Tea-room

Situated in the heart of the village, the cosy Tea-room is a picture-perfect place to refuel after a walk around Corfe Castle or its surrounding area. The interior of this former cottage still contains many of its original features, as well as indoor of seating. If the weather's good, you may prefer to sit in the rear garden, which offers uninterrupted views of the castle ruins.

The National Trust Shop

The shop is located in the village Square, in a unique heritage building. A wide range of seasonal gifts for the Home and Garden or something for yourself in the Fashion and Food Departments.

Look out for the large selection of local products that are all made and crafted within 30 miles of Corfe Castle.

Castle View second-hand bookshop

The second-hand bookshop is located at Castle View Welcome Centre, next to the car park. It's an ideal place to pick up a your next page turner, and help Corfe Castle's story continue for generations to come. Stock is constantly changing, so there's always a wide variety to browse through. Why not find yourself a pre-loved treasure?
