Outdoor Theatre - Pride and Prejudice

Join Illyria as they return to Corfe Castle this summer with Oliver Gray's adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

Lizzy finds disdainful Mr Darcy detestable! Or does she…? Can she see beyond his pride – and could he overcome her prejudice – to consider a possible future together? Award-winning Illyria returns to celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday in sparkling style. Bring a picnic and enjoy her at her vibrant, bitchy best!

Running time: 140-minutes (approximately), including a 20-minute interval

Suitable for all ages.

Bring your own blankets, cushions, and camping-chairs, come prepared for the weather - the performance will continue come rain come shine!

Meeting point

This event will take place in the Outer Bailey of Corfe Castle. Ticket will be checked at the main castle gates. Gates open at 6pm, performance begins at 7pm.

What to bring and wear

Bring your own blankets, cushions, and camping-chairs and bring lots of layers as the summer evenings can become chilly.
