Explore the beauty of Hive and Cogden beach while discovering how the coastline is evolving over time. A relaxed, guided walk sharing stories of change and what it means for our future.
- Booking essential
- Free event
This free walk will meet at the National Trust car park hut and head along the beach to Cogden. On the walk we will look at how the coastline is changing due to different weather patterns and how this change is effecting the nature and geology around us.
The walk is straight along the shingle of the coastline to Cogden and we will also walk back along the coastpath. In total it is around 4km.
We will be walking on shingle and may also be on footpaths which can get muddy if there has been recent rain. Be prepared with good shoes as the shingle can be hard to walk along, especially if you are not used to it.
