In July 2026, the car park payment machines were replaced at Hive Beach, offering improved, user-friendly options for both members and visitors. New machines in the main car park now include the ability to pay by contactless and use the JustPark app.
While Hive Beach now has new parking machines, most things remain the same. National Trust members and Blue Badge holders can still park for free, and the option to use the JustPark app is unchanged.
The main difference is that all visitors - members and non-members - now need to register their visit using their vehicle registration number, as the machines no longer issue paper tickets. Your number plate will confirm whether you’ve paid or are entitled to free parking.
