Festival of Lights - Diya Making
Celebrate the Festival of Lights with creativity, culture and community. Join our team and volunteers for a week of relaxed Diya making workshops and help us create a glowing display for our special Diwali celebration open to all.

Discover the art of Diya making this Diwali. These small clay lamps are traditionally used to bring light and colour to homes during the Festival of Lights.
Join us between 7 and 13 November to create your own unique Diya to take home, or leave it with us to become part of a special community display at our evening celebration on 15 November. Suitable for all ages and abilities, everyone is welcome, with no experience needed.

Children are very welcome.
- What to bring and wear
Weather permitting, this activity will take place outside, so wrap up warm! If the weather is especially poor the activity will take place inside our visitor centre.
