Enjoy music performances, try traditional crafts and games, and take in the colour and lights of Diwali at Dunstable Downs. All are welcome, whether Diwali is part of your culture, or you simply want to experience something new.
The View Café will be open and serving a menu of delicious food, including South Asian chickpea curry one pot, Sweet potato Massaman curry one pot, Cajun fries, Curried cauliflower pasty, and lots of cakes and bakes. Guests are also very welcome to bring their own traditional sweet treats.

The visitor centre is fully accessible.
- Meeting point
Meet at the entrance to the visitor centre, where our friendly team will welcome you.
- What to bring and wear
Guests are very welcome to bring their own traditional sweet treats. Traditional attire, or clothes which honour the celebratory spirit of the festival are encouraged.
- Other
While the event will be held inside, there is a very short walk from the car park to our visitor centre. As it will be dark at the time of the event we ask visitors to take extra care and wear appropriate shoes.
