After a day of enjoying the celebration of marking day on the commons, why not join Stroud councillor Gill Thomas on this short walk around Old Lodge, collecting any litter and learning more about her work. All equipment will be provided, including litter pickers, bags and gloves, but coming with keen eyes for litter will always be helpful.
This event is connected to the From Source to Sea Litter Quest - helping to better understand how we can prevent litter ending up in our water ways.

Children and dogs on leads are welcome on this walk.

Meeting at the welcome desk for the celebration of marking day event in the garden of Old Lodge Old Lodge, Minchinhampton Post code: GL6 9AQ
- What to bring and wear
Equipment will be provided but dress for the weather. This event is an outdoor event and will including walking on grassy, uneven ground.
- Accessibility
The event is hosted outside, with walks being led on areas with uneven, but mostly flat, grass. There are no steps into the garden. The walk will take place near roads and may involve crossing some roads.
