As part of our event to celebrate Marking Day on Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons, join us for this free walk to learn about the importance of nature on the Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons, how it got there and the work National Trust and its partners are doing to protect, restore and care for it.

After this approx. 45 minute walk, you will better understand the role cows and commoning plays in the conservation of this protected landscape.

What to bring and wear

Dress for the weather. This event is an outdoor event and will including walking on grassy, uneven ground.

Accessibility

The event is hosted outside, with walks being led on areas with uneven, but mostly flat, grass. There are no steps into the garden. The walk will take place near roads but will not cross any roads.
