With delicious handmade food, a second hand bookstore, events throughout the year and a variety of lawn games at our Tinkley Gate Woodchester site, there's plenty to keep the family entertained for the whole day.

Eating at Woodchester Park

The Tinkley Gate café at Woodchester is the perfect place to stop a while and refresh during your visit here. It provides a fantastic base for the day, or an opportunity to meet larger groups in our spacious, airy seating areas.

The café serves a diverse and seasonal menu, with hand-crafted, homemade focaccias and pizzas, ice cream during the warmer months and a range of delicious sandwiches to enjoy. Our pizzas are made from scratch and cooked in our beautiful pizza oven over a real fire, while the focaccias are baked fresh each day.

Baby changing facilities are available, and we also have an excellent children's menu as well as high chairs avaiable for your use in the café.

Picnics at Tinkley Gate

With a large, open green space outside, we've got plenty of space for picnics and lots of benches outside for larger groups. Why not treat yourself to lunch or a cake from our cafe and base yourself here for the day. There are games for the little ones and plenty of safe, soft grass within reach of the seating areas.

Second-hand Bookstore

On-site at Tinkley Gate, we have a second-hand bookstore with a range of titles on offer, as well as comfortable seating areas in a snug that offers you shelter from the elements as well as peace and quiet for a moment of relaxation.

There's a selection of children's books, and you may even find something interesting for the adults too, with new titles being made available through donations all the time.

Thanks to your donations for these books, we are able to continue looking after Woodchester for everyone to enjoy.
