Summer of Play - Tinkley Tales
Join us on Mondays for Tinkley Tales. Free, nature-inspired crafts and storytelling for children aged 2-4 years.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Join in with stories, nature and discovery at Tinkley Tales, a free weekly session specially designed for children aged 2-4 years.
Set in the shady barn area behind Tinkley Gate Cafe, on comfy pillows, blankets (and chairs for grown-ups).
10.30am - 11.30am, every Monday in the Summer holidays.
There is a new nature-theme each week, brought to life through storytelling, songs or rhymes. We'll head outdoors for a short walk to look for signs of wildlife, seasonal colours, interesting textures and more to help connect the story to the world around us. Then, when we're back at the barn, get creative with a simple craft activity inspired by the day's theme.
Come along and discover a new story from woodland creatures and wildflowers to birds, bugs and changing weather.
Sessions are relaxed, led by our friendly Tinkley Tales volunteers encouraging play and fun.
This is part of a new trial event series so let the volunteers know how you found it after the session and we can develop it into a term-time offer.
