Woofchester Wednesday Dog Walks
Join a guided, group dog walk around Woodchester Park.
- Booking essential
Calling all dogs, owners, and dog lovers: Woofchester Wednesday's are back!
On the first Wednesday of the month from September to May, there will be guided, on-lead dog walks at Woodchester Park.
Join a Woofchester Wednesday for a relaxed walk with other dog owners, to help with a bit of lead walking practice and dog socialisation.
Each walk is led by a walk leader and supported by walking volunteers, who will guide you at a pace to suit everyone so you and your pooch don't need to worry about getting left behind.
Walks vary in length and terrain depending on the route, but the emphasis is always on enjoyment rather than distance or speed. More information on the routes can be found below.
These guided walks are free to attend and open to all, but spaces must be booked. We have 15 spaces available per walk. Please book a space per dog, up to 2 people are welcome per dog. No need to book for people.
Whether you join for a single walk or attend regularly, this is a chance to explore Woodchester Park with your doggy best friend.
The walks will rotate through 3 routes of a similar distance, in the order:
Boathouse Loop | 3 miles (4.5km) | Ascent 135metres
Kennel Pond Loop | 3.3 miles (5.4 km) | Ascent 175 metres
Mansion Loop | 3.6 miles (5.8 km) | Ascent 183 metres
