Woofchester Wednesday Dog Walks

Join us at Tinkley Gate for special guided on-lead socialisation walks on the 1st Wednesday of each month from September 2025 - February 2026

Welcome dogs, dog lovers and dog owners!

We are hosting guided on-lead socialisation dog walks on the first Wednesday of every month between September 2025 and February 2026.

It's a great opportunity to socialise with other dog owners, help with dog training and socialisation and enjoy the green open space of Woodchester Park for the benefit of you and your dog.

Limit of 2 dogs per person. Tickets are free of charge but must be booked in advance.

What to bring and wear

Dogs must be kept on leads throughout the walks - wear clothing and footwear suitable for an outdoor walk in woodland areas.

Accessibility

All terrain mobility vehicle (Tramper) available to hire from the second hand bookstore at Tinkley Gate. For accessibility info, check our accessibility at Woodchester Park article on the Woodchester Park website.

Wreath Making Workshop 

Join our natural wreath making workshop with local wreath-maker Jean Lawton. Hand-foraged foliage from local National Trust sites will be provided. Ticket includes a complimentary hot drink to enjoy while you craft.
