Walking the Trust10 | 6.2 miles (10 km) | Ascent 267 metres
The Trust10 is a 10k trail run on the 4th Sunday of every month for visitors to take part in. But if running isn't your thing why don't you come and walk the route on the 2nd Sunday instead?
If you fancy a longer, more challenging length then this route is for you. A circular walk that spans the whole park, approximately 6.2 miles (10 km), starting and ending at Tinkley Gate. A total ascent of around 267 metres.
The terrain is mixed throughout: compacted stone surfaces, woodland tracks and grassy paths. A few steeper sections with a short series of steps and some gates, but there will be plenty of places to pause to take it as slow as needed.
A relaxed and sociable way to explore the park beyond the waymarked trails, following quieter paths and taking in changing seasonal views along the way.
Each walk is led by a trained walk leader, supported by walking volunteers, who will guide you at a pace to suit everyone so you don't need to worry about getting left behind!
These guided walks are free to attend and open to all. No booking needed. Whether you join for a single walk or attend regularly, this is a chance to explore Woodchester Park together.
